Returns & Refunds Policy
At TechForgePC, we aim to provide quality products and clear support. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights and our process under Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind Returns
TechForgePC may accept change-of-mind returns at our discretion, provided that:
- The item is unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- The return request is made within 14 days of delivery
- All accessories, manuals, and packaging are included
Change-of-mind returns may incur a restocking fee and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns:
- Opened or used items
- Software, digital downloads, or licence keys
- Custom-built or special-order items
- Items damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or user error
Faulty or Defective Items
If an item is faulty, defective, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible. We may require troubleshooting steps before approving a return.
Depending on the nature of the fault, we may offer:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
Dead on Arrival (DOA)
Items that are dead on arrival must be reported within 7 days of delivery. DOA claims are assessed according to manufacturer and supplier policies.
Return Process
- Contact us via email or the contact form to request a return
- Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return
- If approved, you will receive return instructions
- Package the item securely and include all original contents
Returned items must be packaged carefully. TechForgePC is not responsible for items damaged during return transit.
Refund Processing
Once a returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 3–7 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Shipping Costs
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law
- Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer
- If a return is due to a fault or error on our part, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs
Incorrect or Missing Items
If you receive an incorrect item or an item is missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly.
