Shipping Policy
TechForgePC ships orders Australia-wide. This policy explains dispatch times, shipping methods, tracking, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Dispatch Times
- In-stock items: Most orders are dispatched same or next business day after payment is confirmed.
- Weekends & public holidays: Orders placed outside business days are processed the next business day.
- Pre-orders / backorders: If an item is listed as backordered or pre-order, dispatch occurs once stock arrives. Estimated timeframes (if provided) are indicative only.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes vary by location and carrier. Typical metro deliveries are faster than regional/remote areas.
- Standard Shipping: Typically 2–7 business days after dispatch (metro vs regional may vary).
- Express Shipping: Typically 1–3 business days after dispatch (availability depends on your postcode).
Note: Carrier timeframes are estimates only and can be impacted by peak periods, weather events, and carrier delays.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order weight/size, and selected service.
- Some bulky, heavy, or fragile items may incur additional shipping charges.
- Some remote postcodes may be subject to carrier surcharges.
Tracking
Where tracking is available, you’ll receive a tracking link once your order has been dispatched.
Authority to Leave (ATL)
Some carriers may offer “Authority to Leave”. If you select ATL, you agree the parcel may be left at the delivery address without signature. TechForgePC is not liable for loss after delivery is confirmed by the carrier.
PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers
Some items can be delivered to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers, but larger or courier-only items may require a street address. If your shipping method can’t service a PO Box, we’ll contact you for an alternative address.
Split Shipments
If your order contains multiple items, we may ship items separately (at no extra cost to you) depending on stock location and carrier requirements. You’ll receive tracking for each shipment where applicable.
Incorrect Address / Return to Sender
- Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout.
- If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, or unclaimed parcel, re-shipping fees may apply.
Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the package and contents immediately.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can lodge a claim with the carrier.
- Do not discard packaging until the matter is resolved.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If tracking shows unusual delays or a parcel is marked delivered but not received, contact us and we’ll assist with an investigation. Carrier investigations can take several business days.
International Shipping
At this time, we primarily ship within Australia. If you need an international shipment, contact us and we’ll confirm availability and pricing.
