Warranty Policy

TechForgePC supplies products that come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. This Warranty Policy explains how manufacturer warranties and consumer guarantees apply to purchases made from us.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Manufacturer Warranties

Most products sold by TechForgePC are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods and terms vary by product and manufacturer.

Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Periods

Warranty periods are specified by the manufacturer and typically range from 12 months to several years, depending on the product type.

Where a warranty period is stated on the product page or documentation, that period applies unless otherwise required by law.

What Is Covered

Warranties generally cover faults that arise from manufacturing defects or normal use.

What Is Not Covered

Warranty claims may be declined for issues resulting from:

  • Physical damage, misuse, or abuse
  • Incorrect installation or configuration
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by power surges, liquid exposure, or environmental factors

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact TechForgePC with your order number and a description of the issue
  2. We may request troubleshooting steps, photos, or additional information
  3. If approved, we will provide instructions for repair, replacement, or return
  4. The product may be assessed by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre

Warranty assessments are subject to manufacturer and supplier processes and may take several business days to complete.

Dead on Arrival (DOA)

Items that are dead on arrival must be reported within 7 days of delivery. DOA claims are handled in accordance with manufacturer and supplier policies.

Warranty Repairs

Where a repair is offered, the repair may involve replacement with refurbished or equivalent parts, as permitted under Australian Consumer Law.

Shipping Costs

  • If a product fault is confirmed, reasonable shipping costs may be covered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law
  • Customers may be responsible for shipping costs where a fault is not confirmed

Limitation

This Warranty Policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
